My Mother's Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe

2 Cups Sugar
2 Tbsp light corn syrup
Dash of Salt
3/4 Cup Milk
1/3 Cup Peanut Butter
1 Tspn vanilla extract

Mix sugar, corn syrup, salt, and milk together in a deep saucepan.  Cook over high heat, without stirring until candy thermometer reaches 230 degrees F.  Now add peanut butter and vanilla extract, with no heat, to the fudge and beat vigorously until candy loses its shine and starts to thicken.  Quickly pour this into a buttered container and let stand until firm.  Cut into Squares.  Delicious!
